Look who's back......!!!!

Murielle is still with us next door until the end of March, but Mario's work is slow this time of year in Grande Prairie, so he is back until the end of the month too!

We went to Pangea last night for dinner, as a thanks from them for picking Mario up at the airport. Great food - just a few daily special menu items, but I had the steak and the other 3 had            and both were wonderful. The big reason for going was the flamenco show which was on that night.....see for yourself......

The place was packed and the 2 guitarists and singers alternated with the dancers......

New status in Mexico!

Ok, these are horrid pics, but we are proud to announce that we are now owners of the FM3 immigration cards, which allow us to stay in Mexico longer that 6 months!

We had a few appointments at this Immigration building in Playa del Carmen, and after just a month we had our cards!

This looks like a lovely old colonial building, but was only built a few years ago, and was used as a market on the main floor, offices above, which is where Immigration is.

Miki had a few wrinkles in hers, but once we both had them, we celebrated with a great bottle of bubbly (ok, 2 bottles) and a great steak dinner on the pool deck!!

While we were out shopping, we stopped in at Superama, an overpriced Walmart store, and this is the fish department..........

The wine shop was especially well stocked.........

So Miki got her Cuban rum (which is $67 in Canada) for just $17 here - it is $14.99 at Costco.

Another night we went out to our local quesadilla joint and had the special of the day - fried chicken, rice, beans, salad and a drink for under $10......gotta love it!!!
