post thanksgiving.....

As if we didn't eat enough on Sunday, Michele and Bill prepared a scrumptious salmon dinner on Monday.....here they are working away......

Thanksgiving Sunday Miki and Jason went off to see the Englishman River Falls. It was the one sunny day all weekend, so enjoy these shots Miki took of this lovely river and forest.

Visit from Saltspring

Our dear friend Linda came for a visit and overnight last week. We spent lots of time talking, laughing, watching hockey (of all things) and eating!!! We took Linda to the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, which she enjoyed, but sadly had no goat or sheep cheese......

Our wonderful house sitters from last winter, Murielle and Mario, were over for dinner just before he took off back to Grande Prairie for work, and a week later she followed.












It was an evening full of camera discoveries....they both got new cameras and left us their great Canon.....merci!!!!









All the cats were very attached to these 2, but Chiik especially was very bonded with Mario - here is is boxing on Mario's lap.....













We had a fun dinner......................

Sitges got lots of cuddles that night, too, but Dax pretty much slept through the whole visit.....yawn.

But wait - we will see Murielle in Puerto Morelos on November 1st for 5 months, and Mario mid December for a month. So see you both again soon..............:-)
